Exams.. Four down.. Two Left..

With the on set of consecutive exams once again..
(i seem to always get em...
well at least they're not doubles ^^)
well unlike the fact that i had wasted a 5 day weekend...
with zero study to attribute to my current exam timetable..
im practically screwed..

i F-ed up my lit exam..
of which i should now be studying geog..
i and like i said scar's blog..
i feel like murdering the person
who deemed geogs as an easy subject..
yeah teh content is easy..
but just like h bio..
there's so god damn f-in much of it
><

tho on the upper scale..
lit is over..
its like my major stress out subject..
despite the fact that i dunno what to study and how to study..
-.-
just memorise the text? its so f-in long...
oh and teh quotes i memorised for cloudstreet i didnt even use -.-
GREAT!
why?
coz they didnt support any views of any qs
ugh!

ok
off to get geog notes done..
either that or sleep..
my dear head hurts :(

人生如一夢事...

well went volunteering on fri..
was following a friend of my parents around the wards..
since its sorta because of her i found a place..
it was for the women's auxilary..
which sells stuff to the patients and visitors
of the hospital..
and with the money buys new stuff for the hospital
so yeah..
good cause..

but walking round the ward with some other volunteers
with the "shopping trolley" of goods..
asking the patients if they would like any lollies..
or chips or personal items..
i saw all the sick..
and what i found so intriguing..
was mainly my lack of any response to their state..
what ever their sickness may be...
all i felt was this numbness...
sorta like i was desensitized..
i didnt feel disgusted..
but then again..
i didnt feel utterly happy or sad or interested...
tho on the note of lack of interest..
i found the dialysis room interesting..
to some degree..
had all these dialysis machinery
each person hooked up to one..

after that..
i was offered a job for the downstairs shop..
i think ill do it..
tho i think i'd like more of the paitent contact better..
like looking around in the hospital..
coz the fact that im volunteering lets me have a glance round
the hospital without the need of some one i know being sick..
which means less worry which is a plus ^^

on the note of the title,
my dad just recently aquired a framed piece of calligraphy..
by that title..
like it was buy it and the money goes to charity...
and i really liek the meaning..
so yeah sorta explains the usage of it..

exams are on..
and posting has been going on as usual..
but what happend to the study?
i wonder WHAT THE HELL!?!?!
its yr 12 and im still not even doing minimal study..
looks like im gonna get far -.-

mmm on sat my mum sis and i went to visit a friend of my mum's
well someone she met recently..
and well..
that i thought was jus awkward for me and lina to some degree..
coz she mainly spoke viet..
and well.. in english she kept saying to me
"i cant believe ure in yr 12? you look like a yr 10"
or
"you're so young i thought you look like you're 14/15"
on the first time i heard that i was like
thanx ^^
but after a while..
:S it got a tad bit annoying..
mm and other than that..
it was talk of education system

thinking of dreams..
whether it be chasing after a dream..
living your dream..
nightmare-ing or simply dreaming..
i sometimes really wonder..
are dreams just higgled-y piggledy/random shuffle
like the rev said?
or meaningful?
is it some kind of message that is being sent to you?
or even..
do the people you try to dream of trying to contact you?
like on another plane..
something as a subconscious connection?
if there's always religious/spiritual or just plain psychic explaination?
or plain science being mixture of memories?

like in lit..
when doing gwen harwood..
we were learning of the idea of the arts
bringing us up to a higher level of expression..
that words in any language or scientific explaination cannot explain..
could dreaming be another form of expression
and communication?

*sigh*
anyways time go get some rest..
good luck for everyone else's exams..
and may we all live our dream
*hugz*
nite nite

hmm tho one person's happiness maybe another's misery
would you ever comprimise another's happiness for your own?

anyways
i gotta end it here

State of Mind: Higgledy - Piggledy / Multi-topic-ed / Confuzzled / Jittery (Call it what you will there just aint a specific topic)

Time to steal a quiz back from Allan
(since someone refuses to spell my name correctly)
*hmph*

How Asian Are You??

[x] You take your shoes off before entering the house (Ever since the Annabel lived outside its now my room.. esp since we found out she has a random habit/love for placing shoes along our drive way at regular intervals but before that it was always outside the house)
[x] You eat rice often.
[x] You use chopsticks.
[x] You can speak an asian language.
[x] Your parents want good grades from you.
[x] Your parents insist you don't date until college/uni.
[x] Your parents want you to go to Berkeley or some other good university like that. Stanford or Harvard, even better.
(Well really.. what they deem as the best possible uni.. of which for me in my case is UWA.. -.- im not even allowed to go interstate.. it MUST be UWA *sigh* but anyways... damn Americanised quiz...)
[x] Your parents believe in Feng Shui.
[x] You listen to those horoscopes/zodiac signs.
[x] Your parents love to gossip with the other parents about you.
[ ] You have relatives other than your immediate family living with you.
[x] Most or all of your friends are asian. (Most is the answer to that)
[ ] You don't even know 10 people who aren't asian.
[x] Your ancestors came from Asia.
[x] You are obsessed with the computer and can't get enough.
[ ] You know how to put a computer together.
[x] You listen to asian music. (To some degree..)
[x] You can actually understand the lyrics.
[x] You have to keep things from your parents, even if they're not bad, because you know they'd THINK it's bad. (Provided im acutally out of the house and would do anything possibly bad.. more of a would be situation than a current thing..)
[x] Your relatives love to bring you clothes that are bright in color with cute cartoons on them. If you're lucky, it might even have english words on them that dont make sense. (Now days.. its bright and pastel with lots of frilly bits -.- *shrudders at one of the most recent pink and extremely frilly top i got*)
[x] You love your ethnic food.
[x] You have taken/still take piano and/or violin.
[ ] Classical music is the best music ever, next to asian music.
[x] You are good at math. (Well i was once.. to some degree.. now its jus down the drain..)
Multiply by 4

I am 80% Asian...

and from an email forward..from Jen Yang

PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a God-send and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.!

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

THANK YOU for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

what does everyone want to be known as?
there's that line that says
"people can be identified by the people they spend their time with"
paraphrased obviously..
would this be what you wanted to be remembered as?
as the grouped identity of your particular group?

you know what?
at times i seriously dun wanna god damn care..
i think bout why the hell i have a conscience..
ok fine without it i wouldnt regret things i did
and obviously..
regretting anything is part of being a human..
provided you heed to your conscience..
but...
the thing is why the hell cant i let go of somethings?
i mean seriously..
it would make everyone so much happier..
bloody dwelling on things doesnt help
i know that..
but can i do that?
lol
thinking about it in that way...
how likely am i to go offtrack in my life?
who knows what the future holds..
yet..'
damnit..
i keep jumping thoughts..

ah well mumble jumble multiple topic post it shall be..
i was listening to the radio this morning..
and they were talking bout the new "stage" in kids..
its no longer
Infanthood/Childhood/Adolecence/Adulthood
it seems to be
Infanthood/Childhood/Tweenagers/Adolecents/Adulthood
thing is?
Kids GROWING UP TOO fast
yeah adults talk bout how they remember us younger like it was yesterday
but this is an entirely diff thing..
when you have 7-12 yr olds buying bras..
that i think is worrying..
bras of which go under "lacy lengerie"
that is just too bloody freaky for my mind to even THINK of
its just GOD DAMN WRONG
imagine a lil 7 yr old kid walkin round with a bra
or crop top or those what'd you call ems... Bralettes
*sigh*
what the hell has this world come to?
for christ sakes...
my cousin who's 4/5 even talks like a bloody adult..
normal? maybe...
but a kids round 10 doing dirty dance moves they saw off mtv
ABSOLUTELY F-ING WRONG
yeah they have the tv recommendations
of G or PG or M and stuff
but hello all the media?
oh and what of BB uncut?
well now officially known know as "late nite bb"
i caught my sister watching it a few days/weeks ago..
and the content?
they show both the male and female anatomy..
fine its not really that bad for either of us..
since we've taken health ed..
but hello?
its on tv..!!
public FREE TV
at 10..
when i was 6 i wouldnt be asleep till 11 or 12..
and my god..
with the amount of tv i watched back then...
and curiosity PLUS the adds they have on NORMAL viewing hours..
who aint curious?
i was up at that time and i woulda watched..
poor kids with scarred minds *shakes head*
but then again..
i guess i cant put that context on everyone..
main point/moral of the story: KIDS GROWING UP WAY TOO FAST
hmm
actually..
if they didnt see it on tv they woulda learnt it off their friends anyways -.-

hmmm
somethings really werent finished..
but i really have lost the main point in some of my thoughts..
anyways
nite nite

Harold's Saviour or Harold's Murderer... Which Are You?

was blog flipping thru again today..
and stumbled across a page which had quite a few add on things...
thinkin hmm interesting..
now let's get those brain juices pumping...
and let the creativity flow...

then i stumbled across Harold..
well the dear lil hampster was stuck in the frying pan..
for those who wish to read the story of how he got there..
read the following of either two...
for today's version of the tale read Story One
and if you wanna think of it as last nite/yesterday
read Story Two

STORY ONE
the poor lil silly darling was "trotting" along
one fine sunny day..
and being a hampster as hampsters are..
started fossicking(sp?) around in del's kitchen
(hmm yes.. i have a kitchen as part of my blog :P)
looking for scraps of this or that to nibble on
cos he was OH so hungry...
so scrambling up the shelves..
shifting throught all the containers and boxes of food..
when on the top shelf..
he misplaced a minipaw of his..
and well.. guess what?
he ended entrapped in the frying pan of mine..
which i was going to cook my breaky in -.-
there goes my breaky of bacon and eggs..
now since i was not in the kitchen at that very moment..
you (reader) now have the choice of cooking and frying..
dear Mr. Harold when you misguess the common phrases/idioms
or save him with ure great english knowledge..

STORY TWO
well a dark stormy night when Mr. Harold couldnt see
(since half the power was out in del's house
had gone out... so everything was dim, dark and misty..
hmm how could my house or blog be misty :S)
anyways..
searching for a safe shelter before the rains set in..
Mr. Harold and stumbled into a frying pan..
which del was about to cook her dinner in
(and yes yet again.. you have to take into account..
its a kitchen on my blog)
now you are to decide whether he lives or dies..

yes..
I was bored this morning..
have fun ^^
and for those who absolutely hate him..
and could possibly be pure evil...
*hint hint* you can kill harold once by losing..
then click and watch him die repeatedly..
:P
btw...
highest score gets their name up on the top of the game thing..
kk back to study..
bye

What is an Attention Span...??

i have officially never been so bored in my life..
well actually i may have but thats besides the point.

thank god for study vac..
but it would be so much more useful to me if i actually studied..
ive doen 2 practise exams..
of which i gave up on both at least an hour before i was meant to..
(i was timing myself you see)
-.-
i even gave myself a study break in the middle of one exam paper..
but still
NOTHING
NADA..
NO IMPROVEMENT
*sigh*

anyways..
here's some procrastinator quizzes i did..
mainly hosted by 4degreez.com
what ended up happening..
was that i thoeorised that if i chose a random blog that i know of..
then started clicking links from one to the next..
i would end up eventually on a blog im familiar with..
hence matching the idea of "blogosphere"
or blog ring.. or whatever..
*having expression issues*
so yeah.. testing it out..
i guess you could say it was h bio study
going under the practical knowledge section :P
yep..
is now..
hypothesis: if i click on enough links between blogs,
then i will end up sooner or later on a blog familiar to me..

tho guess waht?
i saw quizzes..
and yea..
quizzes = del sidetracked..
cant say much i LOVE quizzes...
so here are the results :

starting on a perth blog...
then to Malaysia..
Indonesia..
Spain..
Singapore..
Melbourne..
Tasmania..
then really the following..

as you can see..
the conclusion of this practical experiement..
is that the subject del (i) has no attention span
that lasts long enough to do a single exam paper...
(i started on a 4th quiz but it took too long to do :( )
hmm of which is totally off topic from my hypothesis..
therefore i conclude i did not disprove or prove
nor support or unsupport my hypothesis..

damn..
that was pointless..
-.-

======================================================

anyone have fluctuating moods?

like random highs.. then random lows?
or go from one extreme to another in one day?
bleh...
exams = excess blogging or fluctuating moods..
but i guess you can say pms..
i dun really care the reason why..
i just NEED to talk to SOMETHING ...
or ABOUT something

shit..
wasted another hour and a bit..

On the Contrary..

Lol..
on the contrary to Scar's "Crumpled Grumble"
im atm procrastinating some study..
since im trying out the new printer
my dad got to replace the old one..
so.. waiting for printing to get done..
so mite as well post..

*edit: printing never ended up happening... :(
since del managed to stuff up the printer*

was bout yesterday..
after chinese..
i began contemplating..
bout the possiblilty of "needing to be needed"
i mean really..
i get the whole human need of food water shelter
and well..
obviously heard the stressing of the need of human company
which i really heard from mr o nearly all econs in yr 10..
that we as a humans have a compulsion to feel needed or even desired..
personally i think bout it and say yeah..
who wants to feel like a reject?
obiviously there's the want of most kids just to fit in..
its just such a common thing..
just to search for acceptance..
related to their own identity much?
hmm damnit..
just thought of that lit article we got..
bout group identity...
that ppl (the youthful mainly)
want to be identified as a group and less as individualisticly...
remember? for those who're in my lit class...
since there is so much insecurity and all..
and there's that whole lack of certainty..
where one day one thing is the way it is..
the next it all falls apart.
just the idea that there is some support system
by which you identify ureself with which you can fall back on?
bleh...
when i read that article i was like OMG so TRUE...

hmm..
wrote most of that earlier today..
and really wasnt gonna bother publishing it..
but since i just came across this site whilst typing my h bio notes..
i just felt compelled to share with others..
i mean i personally find it quite intriguing..

Revelation13.net

of which from that site somethin which interests me more is
The English King James version Bible code - Part 15 - the Knights Templar, the "DaVinci Code", and the Mary Magdalene Mystery

well what's its based on is this: The Bible Code
The "Bible Code" is a way of looking for hidden prophecies and passages in the Bible, by using a software program to search for messages in the Old Testament Hebrew text. The spaces between words are eliminated, so that the Old Testament is a continuous block of Hebrew letters. Then, by skipping letters at a programmed interval, the program searches for words.

note: i did not write the explaination..
just copied it..

but i find it so much of a conincedence..
if you read the sectioned off bits, well the letters horizontally..
they do make words and seem like part of the bible text..
so the relaibility of this is uncertain..
but still..
conincedental?
i dunno.. its starting to sound freaky on my thoughts..
but im so curious at the same time..
i mean if you decide to go to the main page..
and choose other sections of the site..
theres also one on evolution..
(which would explain how i stumbled across it in the first place)
and there's all this other stuff..
like links to Nostradamus and other stuff.
god damnit.. id really read it if i had the time..
since its like pre exams..
well i have double the day after so i should be studying..
ugh..
stupid.. why NOW?!?!

its just this whole wider picture thing..
all the possibilities of the interconnections which is either
WAY TOO conicidential..
some fake..
or just the idea that there may be some wider picture out there..
that is so big we cant even begin to grasp its like complexity..
tho really intesting since im not christian but still..

hmm..
thinkin bout it maybe i shoulda read revelations from the bible..
but i really havent been bothered..
i really liked reading the first few books of the old testament
when i was younger..
lol hmm..
maybe i'll go and do christian studies in uni..
wonder how my parents would react to that :P
nah..
not THAT interested.. but still..
im so curious bout this whole site..
the connections to the bible and all..

thinkin bout it..
this person must have quite a lotta time AND faith on their hands..
to actually spend time finding links
tho clicking on the one related to the predictions for 2006/2007...
i took a glance.
and really this one is one that im quite critical of..

Year Matrices for 2006 - 2007

teh fact that the number 2007 seems to be in context of the bible text..
so really..
since the bible text itself is read horizontally..
and inputted that way.
and quite a number of them are horizontal words found...

thinkin bout it now..
really is that just a total scaring of ppl..
is it going on extremes when you try to find links ot the current world
encoded in a text of a single particular faith??
each person's choice i guess..
whether or not you choose to believe it..
personally..
ive yet to decide...

anyways..
back to study..
nite nite

A crumpled grumble

To those who've been requesting a font change to Adella behind my back, change your screen contrast/brightness darker you git, or go check your eyes. And yes, I don't care who you are, whether I know you or not, its still the same. Adella blogs for leisure, and is NOT submitting a lit essay which she will of course get 25/25. A little deviation here -->when I read 'unreadable coloured fonts' (which is quite often), I highlight the damned thing which is unreadable to the eyes, so that I don't have to bother the author of the site to change it just because my eyesight sucks. Now that Adella's changed the shade a bit, no more complaining ok? Poor Adella has exams next week, she needs to study, instead of changing the font colour on her blog. Now go eat some carrots you. I'm terribly sorry if I've offended, but I am a person who is driven by impulses, and not the brain=)

Anyway, because I'm procrastinating; having an inability to study, let me show some random pics:

Shoes!!++Greedy Del eating two cakes

Umm yep, enough said.

I'm sleepy now, bye! (Going to dream about standard deviations with residuals and exponential regression lines floating around in the background now)

Tribute to Male Teachers

(before i launch off on some random rant...
for those who find this text colour annoying..
and well PLZ i welcome you..
if it hurts your eyes?
find a HTML colour code that will go with the white background..
that doesnt contrast as bad but still isnt too light for ppl so they can see..
since the change of colour is due to comment wishing for darker text..
so if you hate this colour PLEASE find a good one since...

A) I am HTML illiterate
B) I am pretty colour uncoordinated..

so feel free to leave a colour coding number thingy on the tagboard..
or under the comments bit)

hmm..
maybe time to start the actual main part of the post...

anyways..
i was on my way walking to the carpark from sumner today..
and scar goes and points out to me

forma strutting is NOT a good thing

wondering wat teh hell she was on bout..
i looked out.. and OMG...
he was ACTUALLY STRUTTING!!
like ok.. thinking "strutting" scarlet-ty word..
coulda just been like her use of "trotting"
but NO he was LITTERALLY STRUTTING..
mocking these school girls of the way they could possibly walk..
lol an image that really will be burned into my brain for a while yet..

anyways...
i was thinkin bout it..
then i started thinkin bout all the male teachers ive had over the years..
and really..
other than my primary school one..
which really means of the ones ive had for high school
they've been HEAPS fun..
ok fine so maybe we do blame em quite a lot for a whole bunch of
things just coz of the fact that they're so lax..
but still thinkin bout my school years..

i realised..

my whole high school experience
would have been so much more of a bore without em..
there's always been some kind of thing that i could talk bout..
when it comes to the male teachers of our school..
i mean seriously..
we may complain bout this..
or we may laugh bout some other uncomfortable situation they may have been in..
since they do teach at an all girls school..
eg. pre-ball fever + the number 69
something i doubt i'd forget for a while too...
tho thinkin bout it..
i wonder why the hell i didnt record forma strutting
maybe something i may regret now that i think of it..
it was scarring at that particular moment.
but it would be something which is something
to look back on and laugh like hell...

and what of wilson?
and mr O?
and how could we forget..
dear mr row..?
and well the new edition to the school...
mr nguyen..?
really..
for those who call em weird..
and annoying..
and well anything else..

each of them really have their own "thing"..
whatever it may be..
whether random facts..
being WAY too lax..
not being able to control the class..
having funny stories to share...
harsh marking of tests...
being funny..
giving lectures..
loves pracs...
believes in freedom of students...
loves to be the bystanders when accidents occur to see what we do..
be the receiving end of jokes of any kind...

thinking bout it..
the profession of teaching really is femininely dominated at the current...
(well it is isnt it? not sure since it may be diff elsewhere)
well esp when it comes to primary school teaching...
so really i think that with all the crap that the male teachers deal with..
(hmm some may get crap and others dont)
but anyways..
i just feel so grateful that they taught me over the years..
hmm and yeah.. thats my thoughtful/grateful post of the month..
not that it occurs often..

anyways..
nite nite

ps. was workin at the resto tonite
and i saw kim beazely eating at the resto..
i was like WOW..!! tho initially i didnt see him
and my dad was like "look KIMBERLY is eating at OUR resto"
and i was like "who teh hell is Kimberly"
until i looked in the general direction..
and realised..
OMG it was Beazely baby..
so yeah...
we "dont see Beazely baby jogging.. but i saw him at the resto"

Masks... Which One Should It Be Today?

Masks...
the thought sound familiar?
hmmm..
i'd say an "intertextual" link..
but it sorta isnt but anyways..
the link would be "masks" sound familiar?
Disney's Mulan the song "Reflection"
and well...
study of Gwen Harwood's Poem "Littoral"
the other day in lit really struck the thought..
the idea of "social masks"
and the line which goes along the lines of
dry pebbles in an empty skull
hear the old cliches roll!

just the idea of that common courtesy
and all those cliches and
that social routine that occurs

ie.
person 1: [insert greeting]
person 2: [insert greeting] how are you?
person 1: im good you?
person 2: great...

despite the fact that in some cases..
common courtesy and manners may sometimes be lacking
if really said in the wrong tone..
its just feels SO fake..
ok so if its some random off the street....
fine it makes sense common courtesy is required..
peeople say hi to you you say hi back and ask how they are..
some customer or clientele who u dun wanna sustain a convo with..
fine as well..
but ugh i dunno the whole structure thing seems to be
such a big part of the whole social facade..
and yeah i do it too
but still sometimes i just really hate that feeling...
like that whole appearing so friendly..
when really im in the worst possible mood on earth..
but still i just still go on and plaster on a smile
and sound just so "happy" -.-
i dunno
maybe im just a total hermit crab who likes my own lil solitude...
well at least i enjoy being round ppl who im really familiar with..
but put me outside the comfrot zone and i feel fake..
unrealistic.. like taking on some form or another..

how much do ppl put on masks?
like scar's once posted analogy on her blog not mine...
each person's different side being a form of foundation..
whether or not the concealer is a good one?

Another thought is that of the whole
is it our choice to be so friendly and cheerful when addressing ppl?
or just teh fact that yeah its just total social expectation?
do we "choose" to do something to conform to the ideologies
of expected social behaviour
which is meant to be part of "civilised society"

*note the " "*

or that we just do it for the sake of it out of no particular thought..
just coz thats what we've developed as a habit..
since we've been brought up that way..
its the way in which we choose to relate to each other at first meeting?
(you know since this is actually written over like 3 days..
i think ive lost the main point of this post..
but anyways i try to continue...)

bleh..
ill just accept the fact that its just outta total habit..
cbb continuing a train of thought that's been derailed .. -.-

nite nite...
will start a new post some time tonite...
*hugs*

Cadets rocks my jocks....

Today I learnt that one of Adella's dearest friends, namely Panda from Melbourne will be visiting Perth soon. Following his departure, Albie should be arriving soon? Yay, Adella has been missing you guys like crazy. Behave yourselves ok? Don't upset Adella, don't pull her hair, don't draw on her with pen, don't invite yourself to search through her pencil case without permission, don't not take pictures with Adella, don't not go out at least once to meet Adella, Understand? The previous are things which are forbidden. Understood? I take that as a no, but anyhow, REMEMBER it!!

PS. Scarlet welcomes bribes, and accepts money orders, cheques, food, chocolate, icecream, credit cards, travelling cheques and any electronics but sadly not western union money transfer, direct debit, bpay, paypal, or BOBs.

Thank you for your cooperation

Tuesday, May 16, 2006

Just to piss Adella off, I'll just scribble a few words here. Yes, Adella's previous post seemed to follow Scarlet's style of writing. Scarlet was reading, eyes bulging and all and going "whoa baby, someone is capable of impersonating scarlet the great"

Anyhow I shall depart now, (and stop floating between first and third person point of view). Bye everyone!

PS. Adella seems to be hooked onto these quizzes. Maybe she's addicted to it!

hmm still lost for talk..
and i really feel like posting too :(

ah well..
lets talk of del's absolute existance of the last 2 weeks
of which back to school felt like it was entirely..
lets just say the "bubble world" i live in..
well it was no longer filled with happy things..
it was filled with a solution of assessments and assignments..
(and hmm.. this is not my writing style..
or at least it doesnt seem so..
seems more scarlet-ty..)

well really..
ive practically been just in a mode of bare exisitance..
where every day was an assessment.
where's all the fun gone..?
well actually i wonder if it existed at all in the past..
but still..
basically..
tomorrow the "week before exams amnesty" officially begins..
and now its sorta semi started..
i utterly THANK GOD for it..
tho the last 2 weeks i was practically cursing it..
^^"

well due to this amnesty...
which means there can be no assessments the week before exams
therefore all teachers who want an extra assessment in before exams
decided to cram it all the 1 and half weeks before the amnesty.
resulting in..
a test everyday minimum...
with the exams upcoming..
minus the actual exam bit..
im acutally really welcoming the exams..
giving me a bitta time at home to get study done..
tho whether i get any study done is a whole nother story..

i was thinking this morning..
the fact that mr forma was like
you are a completely new person every 7 years

ah back in the day's of forma's class..
truthfully thinking back..
i miss those times..

anyways..
i was thinkin bout it..
and realised with the whole 21st being so important..
its also a multiple of 7..
which means at that age..
every single cell of your body has been regenerated..
tho im not sure bout the whole neurons thing tho..
(learning bout CNS and brain atm for h bio)
hmmm any connection? :P
like 18 is an official age to be considered to be an adult..
and well before for girls 16 was the debutante ball
which is like coming out ball
and now its sweet 16 age of consent..
but what rite of passage is 21?
personally i dunno
but i sorta concluded.. "you are a whole new person" :P
hmm... that was pointless...

god..
and over the night..
since i sorta stopped typing a while ago..
ive dropped back into that little state of
in between numbness and i dunno..
just this sorta how would you say it..
like crest fallen attitude?
i dunno..
whatever it is i hate it yet..
it comes creeping in so often..
*sigh*

you know today..
school finished..
and since i had a geog test last period..
i went to the locker and was like
YAY!! its the weekend
-.-
shows how much i wish it hadn't flown by eh?

funny..
im lacking so much sleep yet i havent gone to sleep yet..
guess its sorta still early...

oh and the note..
new template/layout..
since i began to realise that stuff was getting cut off
the end of the last template on my posts and well..
that meant that if anyone read it really meant having to scroll
sideways..
personally i hate that..
so :(
so sad had to go layout searching all over again..
and i had just changed it
*sigh*
and after bout an hours worth..
guess this is what ill have to deal with for a while..

and due to the whole "disappearing" of tagboard..
once in a while..
well a lot lately..
well to compensate for taht..
ive put back in the whole comments bit at the bottom of the post..
so if it disappears again..
feel free to just comment at the bottom of each post instead
^^

exams next week..
have i said that already?
dunno..

hmm..
over the weekend..
was the CCGS ball
followed by Mother's Day..
one helluva LONG weekend it was..
well actually it was so busy it flew by..
but i feel like ive lacked a weekend
so the last 2 weeks plus this one..
feels like its dragged together to combine into some
REALLY long school period ><

ball..
was good..
tho i guess half way thru the night..
i sorta worked out waht the glitch was..
and well found out the full story behind that by the end of the nite..
and really..
all i can say..
is that if i knew..
if i'd known the truth earlier
then i think that i dont think i woulda gone..
it was his ball..
im grateful for what he did..
but it really was his ball..
he coulda just ditched me i wouldnt mind..
i mean face it its happened too often for me to personally care..
he had the rite in the whole choice thing..
but i guess its over...
so lets just put that in the past..
so summing that bit up..
minus the glitch it was great :D
but cmon lets face it..
not as good as MLC over all :P
ah well id say that since not all my friends were there..

Mother's Day..
well i woke up at 7 am..
and had the annual ritual of assistance of flower selling..
so therefore there was no afters attendance..
im a good girl ^^
so yeah...
of which for the first time..
i was sitting with my sister waiting outside..
for like customers..
and we were at a bench..
my arm round my sister..
and this lady walks past..
and says
Happy Potential Mother's Day

something of which..
im still personally questioning..
whether or not it should be taken as an insult..
or just some random comment or greeting..
ah well..
to that matter i guess i shouldnt bother wasting thought.
when i should be studying..
but still it was just such a strange thing for me..
*shrugs*
then went to temple..
then went to grandma's for family gathering..
and that's my Mother's Day..

totally exhausting..
tho really typing it out like that it seems like nothing..

hmmm..
parents home..
and i betta get some sleep
nite nite
*hugz*

I'm a Big Shot Baby!! :P What are you..?

Since del is currently existing in a world of assessments
and is counting on whatever is left of her brain to survive..
she has a lacking of an ability to form a decent blog post..
therefore the following has been used as a substitute..
sorry for any inconveniences..
and to scarlet.. yes im nothing but a rip off of you :P

Birth Test
Our Birth Date describes who we are, what we are good at and what our
inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the
challenges we are facing. To figure out your Birth Number, add all the
numbers in the Birth Date together, like in the following example, until
there is only one digit.

A Birth Number does not prevent you from being anything you want to be, it
will just color your choice differently and give you a little
insight.

Example: March 20, 1950
3 + 20 + 1950 = 1973
1 + 9 + 7 + 3 = 20
2 + 0 = 2

Keep going until you end up with a single digit number. 2 is the Birth
Number to read for the Birth Date in the example.

#1 THE ORIGINATOR
#2 THE PEACEMAKER
#3 THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
#4 THE CONSERVATIVE
#5 THE NONCONFORMIST
#6 THE ROMANTIC
#7 THE INTELLECTUAL
#8 THE BIG SHOT
#9 THE PERFORMER
===============================================
# 1 - THE ORIGINATOR -
1s are originals. Coming up with new ideas and executing them is natural. Having things their own way is another trait that gets them labeled as being stubborn and arrogant. 1s are extremely honest and do well to learn some diplomacy skills. They like to take the initiative and are often leaders or bosses, as they like to be the best. Being self-employed is definitely helpful for them. Lesson to learn: Others' ideas might be just as good or better and to stay open minded.
{Famous 1s - Tom Hanks, Robert Redford, Hulk Hogan, Carol Burnett,
Wynona Judd, Nancy Reagan, Raquel Welch.}

#2 - THE PEACEMAKER -
2s are the born diplomats. They are aware of others' needs and moods and often think of others before themselves. Naturally analytical and very intuitive they don't like to be alone. Friendship and companionship is very important and can lead them to be successful in life, but on the other hand they'd rather be alone than in an uncomfortable relationship. Being naturally shy, they sh ould learn to boost their self-esteem and express themselves freely and seize the moment and not put things off.
{Famous 2s - President Bill Clinton, Madonna, Whoopie Goldberg, Thomas
Edison, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.}

# 3 - THE LIFE OF THE PARTY -
3s are idealists. They are very creative, social, charming, romantic, and easygoing. They start many things, but don't always see them through. They like others to be happy and go to great lengths to achieve it. They are very popular and idealistic. They should learn to see the world from a more realistic point of view.
{Famous 3s - Alan Alda, Ann Landers, Bill Cosby, Melanie Griffith, Salvador Dali, Jodi Foster}

# 4 - THE CONSERVATIVE -
4s are sensible and traditional. They like order and routine. They only act when they fu lly understand what they are expected to do. They like getting their hands dirty and working hard. They are attracted to the outdoors and feel an affinity with nature. They are prepared to wait and can be stubborn and persistent. They should learn to be more flexible and to be nice to themselves.
{Famous 4s - Neil Diamond, Margaret Thatcher, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tina
Turner, Paul Hogan, Oprah Winfrey}

# 5 - THE NONCONFORMIST -
5s are the explorers. Their natural curiosity, risk taking, and enthusiasm often land them in hot water. They need diversity, and don't like to be stuck in a rut. The whole world is their school and they see a learning possibility in every situation. The questions never stop. They are well advised to look before they take action and make sure they have all the facts before jumping to conclusions.
{Famous 5s - Abraham Lincoln, Charlotte Bronte, Jessica Walter, Vincent
Van Gogh, Bette Midler, Helen Keller and Mark Hail.}

# 6 - THE ROMANTIC - 6s
are idealistic and need to feel useful to be happy.
A strong family connection is important to them. Their actions influence
their decisions. They have a strong urge to take care of others and to
help. They are very loyal and make great teachers. They like art or music. They make loyal friends who take the friendship seriously. 6s should learn to
differentiate between what they can change and what they cannot.
{Famous 6s - Albert Einstein, Jane Seymour, John Denver, Meryl Streep,
Christopher Columbus, Goldie Hawn}

#7 - THE INTELLECTUAL -
7s are the searchers. Always probing for hidden information, they find it difficult to accept things at face value. Emotions don't sway their decisions. Questioning everything in life, they don't like to be questioned themselves. They're never off to a fast start, and their motto is "slow and steady wins the race." They come across as philosophers and being very knowledgeable, and sometimes as loners. They are technically inclined and make great researchers uncovering information. They like secrets. They live in their own world and should learn what is acceptable
and what is not in the world at large.
{Famous 7s - William Shakespeare, Lucille Ball, Michael Jackson, Joan Baez,
Princess Diana, Vince Ricciardi}

# 8 - THE BIG SHOT -
8s are the problem solvers. They are professional, blunt and to the point, have good jud gment and are decisive. They have grand plans and like to live the good life. They take charge of people. They view people objectively. They let you know in no uncertain terms that they are the boss. They should learn to base their decisions on their own needs rather than on what others want.
{Famous 8s - Edgar Cayce, Barbra Streisand, George Harrison, Jane Fonda,
Pablo Picasso, Aretha Franklin, Nostradamus}

#9 - THE PERFORMER -
9s are natural entertainers. They are very caring and
generous, giving away their last dollar to help. With their charm, they
have
no problem making friends and nobody is a stranger to them. They have so
many different personalities that people around them have a hard time
understanding them. They are like chameleons, ever changing and
blending in. They have tremendous luck, but also can suffer from extremes
in fortune and mood. To be successful, they need to build a loving
foundation.
{Famous 9s - Albert Schweitzer, Shirley MacLaine, Harrison Ford, Jimmy
Carter, Elvis Presley}

Somethings just never change...

*sigh*
first day back..
term 2..
and find out its bout 19 days till exams..
of which i did zero hw over the hols..
and have a 2 week cram period of assessments..
follow by not so amneste-ic amnesty..

anyways..
so yeah it was first day back..
but bleh..

=============================================

funny..
i go and open up the blog..
then other than a single draft ^ (look up)
i literally disappear off from any posts..

yeah and really like scar mentioned before..
i do have a few drafts..
tho they always end up to only be like 5 lines long only
coz i find that they seem to be like pointless to publish
but i never get back to finishing em..
-.-

think it was like on anzac day evening..
or the nite after..
was stuck at the resto so started watching today tonight
since there was nothing on..
and they had some thing on how turkish guys were sneaking
into aust legally
bout how guys "lure" the aussie girls into believing that
they love em then get married to them to gain a spouse visa to live in aust..
or something along those lines
and have these women go on bout how they feel cheated...
and how their husband walked out on them
a few days after their spouse visa was approved
and for some they had kids before they were married
so the aussi wives are left with a pending divorce
as well as children to look after..
and a hubby who apparently gets to keep the spouse visa..
or wahtever..
but i just found it really too "coincedental"
that they chose to show that particular story..
just before their next which was..

the inclusion of turkish ppl in the anzac march this year for the first time ever

that those died in gallipoli on the other side of the war lines
get honoured as well under the anzac day..
and just the previous story hads to be a negative story..
followed by the positive one..
whether or not it was intended that the
first story cast a dark light over the next..
or the second story to cast a more positive view over the negative one..
i just find it a bit suss...
with the whole majority of stories on the show
either full on adverts on which household thing is better?
or the scary affect of some thing or the other on kids
or schooling stuff..

on the whole lack of posting..
really ive been up at 430 last thurs and fri morning..
rushing to get belated holiday hw done..
which ended up in me with awakeness in the day..
and physically tired all this w/e
:S and shaky today.. ><

i was just thinking the other day..
wolfwhistles...
would ppl take it as a compliment or insult..?
like if ure confident of ure own body image and all
you could jus say yay! someone thinks im hot..
yet again theres those out there its like
"im not some object or animal.. treat me decently as a fellow human"
like it can be an insult i guess..
depends how you take it..

ah well random thought from a random day...

life statment..
still go that for RE..
ive done bout like 1 and 1/4 pages..
but it slightly seems pointless since half of it is like
random talk..bout nothing but my like context and what ive done recently..

tired..
g2g
nite nite
*hugz*

ps. no promise on posts till like after exam period..
so sometime in June...
or in the week pre exam...

My nutrigrain has finished, so I'm munching on a carrot right now...

Because Adella is damn lazy and has like a million draft posts which she to date hasn't completed yet, I shall enlighten this blog with my presence. (Yes it is the wondrous Scarlet again)

Well today Adella had a great day, she set off wanting to rent a dress, but she ended up buying one! Go Adella! I'm sure you'll look dam fine in it! =) (God knows who can be actually bothered reading this, but still...)

Last night I was aggravated as hell, because unexpectantly my phone decided to die. Well actually it didn't exactly decide as such, however it just went *BEEP* with an alert flashing on the screen every 5 seconds 'WARNING -- LOW BATTERY', and decided to suicide exactly approximately one hour, forty-seven minutes and 15 seconds later.

I shall post an exclusive DRAFT-post from my xanga here:

I'm so bored right now ><

I did my Chem test today instead of next Friday, because I don't exactly want five tests next week. So yeah =) I have geog on 15 May (Mon), --> day after Mother's Day. That weekend I'm not going to get any study done so I have to do it next week =/

Today I got exam timetable. I don't like it man! Yes its all very good and yadda yadda, but I wanted a five day weekend! Arghh stupid physics.

Yes, I do not approve of abusive behaviour, however at times, the yr 8's just send me running off a cliff. They STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LOCKER ROOM AND TALK! Bl**dy Hell, can you PLEASE go OUTSIDE if you want to talk? You are obstructing the free flow of students -- namely Year 12s. Effing hell, your lockers are so damn big, put your schoolbags INSIDE your locker. All I ever see is the lockerroom lined with schoolbags.
Yes I admit, not everyone is like this, but I'm just aggravated at the majority, because they obviously need to learnt that mummykins is NOT going to come and pick up after them.

I was going to post it on my xanga last night, forgot about it, and then found it on my computer just then. Sorry about my 'angry' feelings, but quite often I am quite aggressive, abusive, abrasive at times. =)

Tonight, I shall like to express my anger at tourists. Ok, this after noon I was at Fremantle (or sometimes named with more passion; 'Freo', with a huge O sound at the end), and suddenly some tourist trots up to me, and in a heavily accented english asks me "Where is ______?" (Insert some random place which is most probably located in Iceland). My in...
Wait, it shall be easier to read if I wrote it in script format...... tada--> *REWIND* *PLAY*
Tourist1: *trots up to Scarlet* *heavily accented english* Where is ____________? (Insert some random place which is most probably located in Iceland)
Scarlet: *blinks* Um, huh, hey, yeah, uh, .........Sorry I don't think I know
Tourist2: *faces Scarlet* Oh, dear, are you a tourist as well? *faces Tourist1* I went there yesterday dear, here, its in that direction *points*, its next to ____Building
I got mistaken as a %%&^$*&^% tourist!! >< Sorry for using gross colours for the above, eating this carrot has impeded the function of my brain.

Anyway, that's all from me for now -- I got to make some instant noodles now. Byee --

Opening up...

Well after much thought..
well not really...
just had a random urge the other day just to open up to everyone..
so..

welcome to my blog of 2 years..
of which for the last year has been password prompted..
and really..
since it contains so much stuff.
there's bound to be some stuff that may offend some readers
and really the point of this post is to say..
that when written...
past posts were written in the belief that there were a selection of people who would only be able to read it and since ive removed it..
if you come across any post that you may find offensive too bad..
its your choice if you choose to read
and comment at your will
but im not gonna bother going through and changing any part at all
just for the sake that people will be offended..

anyways..
enjoy..
i hope at least some of these "scribblings" provoke some logical thoughts

nite.

I am eating nutrigrain right now...

I know you must have been filled full of excitement when you start reading this post, thinking that it is Dearest Adella updating her fantastic blog. Well my friends, sorry to disappoint you, but this is actually Scarlet. Yes I took over her blog! (I can actually see a frown coming onto your face, and you beginning to cringe this very moment, and your preparation of weapons of mass destruction to rid this world of creatures/beings such as Scarlet)

Anyway, lets start getting to the point. Why am I invading in private thinking space? Well I am a lazybum, and can't be bothered finishing the blog post I started in my xanga, so yes, here I am, trashing Adella's little blogging haven.

To make this somewhat sad and secluded post 1% meaningful and worthwhile I've decided to be a good samaritan and post some pictures, because Adella never does so!!

Last Day of School '05

MLC Ball '06

House Singing & Drama Day

Pelican Point

Geog Excursion

Doesn't Adella look so hot?

PS. The author of this post was 999% insane when writing this post. The above post is not is based on real characters either alive or dead. The author holds no responsibility for any deaths, marriages, pregnancies, births, graduations, bankrupcies as a result from the above post.

PPS. Adella, I suggest that you change the template a bit, by where it says the author nickname, put the tag <$BlogItemAuthorNickname$> in instead of 'DELLA' =) so that people know when I invade your blog.

anyways..
after that..
you know what im wondering?
im just wondering if i should just take off the password thingy..
yeah the age-ish old question :P
ok...
first of all the main reason of its presence was once a go..
i wanted privacy from my sister..
but i realised now on her computer it just doesnt show up..
so there goes that reason..

but its really the vents that really affect ppl..
the fact that some maybe offended..
but i just dunno..

in a way its the "thing"..
the whole what ppl think i guess..
the fact that you guys get to read this..
its that yes i trust you guys enough
and invite you to read my thoughts..
an open invitation to my mind..

and really today..
ive just been thinking if i open up and take it off..
well really there's the potential that more ppl could read..
but then again..
for me it can get more restricting on what i could say
in trying to avoid offending people..

any opinions on whether or not to remove the password thing?
just feel free to tag away...
honesty is all i really want..

nite nite
*hugz*
